If you've been feeling drawn to Reiki, it's often about far more than learning a healing technique. For many people, Reiki becomes the beginning of understanding themselves more deeply, learning to trust their intuition, and becoming more aware of the subtle ways in which energy communicates. This course is suitable for complete beginners, as well as those who would like to deepen their personal healing journey or begin the path towards becoming a Reiki practitioner. During the course, you will receive your First Degree Reiki attunement, enabling you to become a channel for Reiki energy. Once completed, you will be able to use Reiki for your own healing and personal development, as well as to treat friends and family. (Professional practice begins after completing Reiki Level 2.) Over four interactive classes, we cover the traditional teachings of Reiki, including its history, the Reiki Principles, working with energy, the aura, chakras, protecting and cleansing your energy field, Reiki hand positions, and plenty of practical Reiki sessions. What makes my course different is that we don't simply work through the material and go home. At the beginning of every class, we discuss everyone's experiences since the previous session. As Reiki begins to integrate, questions, emotions, insights or fears can arise. Rather than seeing these as obstacles, we work through them together, allowing them to become part of your learning and personal growth. There is also plenty of time to practice. I believe the best way to develop Reiki—and your intuition—is through experience. You'll give and receive Reiki, complete practical exercises, ask questions, and build confidence in a safe, supportive environment. My aim isn't for everyone to experience Reiki in the same way, but to help you recognise and trust your own unique way of sensing energy. My hope is that you'll leave with far more than a Reiki certificate. I want you to leave with a deeper understanding of yourself, greater trust in your intuition, and the confidence to continue using Reiki in your everyday life.
